Upscaling from 9 to 23 schools across Jordan to reach over 3,500 refugee and vulnerable children every semester; 2016 has been a year of significant challenge but success for the MECI Jordan office.
In order to address the needs of both developing Jordanian and trauma-exposed Syrian refugee children, MECI Jordan continued to enhance its effective program providing education, psychosocial support as well as child protection and broader referral services, targeting children aged 6-14, as well as youth and communities of parents.
In 2016, MECI Jordan reached more individuals, than it had over the 2 previous years.
This would not have been possible without the dedication of our local team and frontline workers, as well as the support of our partners and donors.
Your special care and solicitude inspired our work throughout the year.
