Stress To Strength: Healing With Resilience

As April marks #StressAwarenessMonth, we want to take this opportunity to highlight the impact of anxiety and stress on children living in the Middle East and the work we do to support them.

The invisible victims of conflict are women and children who are exposed to ongoing violence, displacement, and insecurity, which can have severe consequences on their physical and mental health.

Our latest program is an exciting, innovative digital Intervention for stress/anxiety reduction. MECI has partnered with a Stanford start-up Muvik Labs to deliver an evidence-based, multisensory, digital therapy  BreathConductor™ .
This efficient, easy to implement solution has been real-world tested with children within the MECI program, in its culturally adapted Arabic version, and demonstrated anxiety reduction in as little as 3 minutes, with the additional benefit of building stress resilience when utilized regularly.

By using simple, easy-to-follow exercises, BreathConductor™ helps individuals learn to recognize, manage, and reduce anxiety symptoms, within moments.
