MECI 15th Year Anniversary Celebration:
What a better way to celebrate our 15th year anniversary than within the local community we serve. We are blessed with a dedicated, loyal field team, some with MECI since the start, and a supportive community.
The 15-year anniversary ceremony, was held on September 14th, under the auspices of HE Dr. Layla Ghannam, Governor of Ramallah Governorate.
The ceremony was followed by an exhibition that showcased the activities conducted by the children during MECI after School Program and Summer Peace Camps as well as products from our partner the local “Women Association”. The event created a lot of hype and excitement for the community and was attended by key stakeholders.
15 Years of Positive Impact 2007-2022
So much has happened since 2007:
• starting in 1 school to reach 147 schools,
• reaching over 30,000 children,
• providing over 500,000 nutritious meals,
• awarding 23 university scholarships,
• and setting up the first Internet Café in the region.
But what is most important is the healing and transformation that occurred within the children and women we touched.
