About MECI
The Middle East Children’s Institute (MECI) has been transforming the lives of children and women for 20 years through education, psychosocial support, women’s employment, and community development. What began in one school has grown into programs across several villages in the West Bank and is now expanding north to reach displaced children and women. In today’s difficult context, MECI’s work is needed more than ever.

About the Barenboim-Said Center for Music
Founded on the belief that music can be a bridge for peace, the Barenboim-Said Center for Music in Ramallah and the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin train young Palestinian musicians and foster cultural exchange. Their commitment to excellence and dialogue has inspired generations of musicians.

Our Partnership
Since 2009, MECI has proudly partnered with the Barenboim-Said Center for Music to bring advanced music education to our students. Through choirs, youth symphonies, and music programs, this collaboration has enriched MECI’s holistic model and offered children the chance to heal, learn, and express themselves through the universal language of music.
