MECI’s 20th Anniversary Peace Concert: A Night of Hope and Solidarity

Last week, MECI celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a Peace Concert in Vevey, Switzerland, an evening filled with music, warmth, and extraordinary solidarity. The event brought together friends, partners, and supporters who share the belief that education is a pathway to peace.

We were honored to welcome musicians from the Barenboim–Said community in Ramallah and Seville. Their generous performance brought beauty, humanity, and connection to the evening, embodying the spirit of hope that defines MECI’s mission.

The concert also featured the premiere of a short film sharing MECI’s work over the past 20 years and the voices of children, families, and educators whose lives have been touched by our programs.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us and to all who support MECI from around the world. Your belief in our mission keeps hope alive and enables us to continue providing safe learning spaces and psychosocial support to children and families in the West Bank.
