MECI Palestine is still going on with its mission by achieving different milestones:

‘Our Family’ Initiative

The local Women's Association played a key role in implementing the initiative, standing by the local communities and showcasing its endless support to the families of Bani Zeid. MECI supported and empowered the most vulnerable women by giving them the task of preparing the food packages.

300 food care packages were distributed to MECI families in dire need.

MECI Internet Café

The very first Internet Café brings enormous value to the region, and basic training in computer literacy to mothers, teachers and children in the remote village community of Beit Rima, West Bank. It allows students with limited internet access to pursue their online education despite all this year's hardship.

Technology Program

MECI Palestine took a step forward in response to pressing educational needs by launching the 'Technovate to Educate' Program where students, teachers and mothers can come together to learn basic computer skills and coding, essential nowadays to pursue online learning and to future opportunities.

Laptops

University Scholars in Palestine were equipped with laptops to be able to pursue their online studies.

“We’re very grateful for this gift as we now have the opportunity to continue studying online despite University closures.
Last semester was a big challenge but things will be easier for us now with these computers. We appreciate MECI’s effort and ongoing support for us in these difficult circumstances.”

Oxygen Machines

While many in the USA and Europe see a clearer path ahead, in Beit Rima, where MECI operates, the current COVID-19 health crisis is dire.

When the mayor and community leaders reached out to MECI, we responded to the crisis by donating 3 medical oxygen devices.
